canoe trip to the north : Optimus Crux Lightweight Backpacking and Camping Stove
Last year my wife and I went on an 8 day canoe circut in BC. We used the stove for a hot breakfast, hot dinner and the occasional sponge bath! It was great! Together we only used two and partial fuel can. The stove is so small and light weight I sometime forget it was there. It never gave me any problems.

I still show it to my scouts and use it on weekend campouts.
